How do I raise funds?
- Remember you are raising funds to help send 300 young people to summer camp.
- Set a goal that will cause you to smile when you reach it.
- It costs $400 for one student to spend a week at a camp.
- Make a list of friends, contacts, and business that may be willing to sponsor you or be a sponsor for the event.
- All funds raised through sponsors will be applied to your team goal.
- Set the standard with your commitment to the goal.
- We have supplied a sample letter you can use, but the people you contact will respond because it is your request and it is a worthy cause, they just need to be given the opportunity.
When do we turn in the funds?
- You will turn in the funds on or before the day of the tournament.
- Most players bring the funds they have collected the day of the event and give them to the Captain.
- The Captain turns in the funds for their team.
- Donations will be receipted, and a letter sent to all donors thanking them and reporting on the success of the day.
